chrysler voyager

Posted on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 23:36

This is a nice looking vehicle. The style and size of the van was its selling point.

Its an ultimate family car on the highway.

My friend owns one, and it have been very useful having it for a long time.

Though as early as one year of ownership we notice a slight rust forming on its chrysler tailgates. He just kept on cleaning it from time to time and luckily the rust didnt scatter.

suzuki vitara

This comes in a very good value. The overall package is good too.

My friend owns it for 5 years now and the car have been very reliable.

Although, the tailgates have already rust in it. Well its understood that tailgates are the first to rust because all water and dirt is sucked into the tailgate part which causes rust without regular cleaning.

All in all we're happy with this car.

buick century

My friend has a brand new buick century. It wasnt so expensive as compared to other famous brand.

It has a comfortable interior. I just notice some noise from its rear wheels.

Some long time owners says that it can bring out the best if it is well taken care of.

saturn sl

Posted on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 21:59

My family has a saturn sl since 1994. Its a very reliable car, thats why its still being used by my family as of today, without any major defects in it.

But i guess this car is only a good choice if your standards are not so high.

It is an average car, with an average speed and power. But it rides good and is pretty comfortable.

We just had a problem with its bearing on the front saturn wheels that needs changing often.

subaru legacy

This is a very appealing car. Very luxurius looking. But as all other cars, it also has some annoying abnormality.

My friends legacy, somehow old and overused had a problem with its wheels. I often here some squeak from the wheels part every once in awhile.

Then we found out that it is badly corroded around and within the wheel parts.

Fairly, the car have served him well for a very long time. Luckily that was the only problem that have come up till now.

gmc sierra

Posted on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 21:41

I like how owners react to questions about their gmc sierra. They all seem to have a very good time with the truck.

So i was planning to have my own for business uses. But there have been issues on it with my friends own sierra.

It had a leak on the wheel very soon after he bought it, and was corrected by the dealer after. But somehow the repair caused damage to the transmission.

Well i guess this problem is for the specific unit only. Not for the entire model.

I better have one by the end of the year.

gmc jimmy

Ive heard many complains about the same model. The gmc jimmy.

But luckily my friends 'Jimmy' doesnt have any problem in it from the start.

Its very reliable even on snowwy areas. Well its a great car for the four season areas.

Maybe better care is needed for those cars that had problem very soon.

All in all, a very satisfying vehicle.

I have an old ford thunderbird. A cheap gift from my dad but. I appreciate it much.

He also gave me an auto parts catalog and a promise that he will give everything i requested from that it to make the car look good as new.

That was the best gift. Simple, but thoughtful.

This is a rare car. But its superbly designed.

It may be rare because of the not so cheap cost. Well no doubt that it has a good performance.

But if i ever got an oppurtunity to own it, i would. Only now that i dont have that enough money.

rattling heat sheild

Posted on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 01:58
I once heard a rattling sound under my bmw 524. I suspected for a crack on my exhaust system. So i have to check it, and then ive found out that the rattling sound was only caused by a loose bolt on the heat sheilds. I then tighten it up, and the rattling was fixed.

Ive been planning to paint my bmw 524 under the hood (on some of the engine parts). I would incorporate ideas on which paint to use, and if primers are still advisable. Please feel free to comment.

Posted on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 01:23
I have experienced strong vibrations on my bmw 524, and it even gets worse when i use the brake. So i suspected worn out tires or bearings. I checked it and find out theres nothing wrong with it.

A friend advised me to check the drive shaft, and i did. Then i find out that it was the one who is worn out. Ive replaced it, and the car works well now.

increase fender height

Posted on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 01:06
I once had a problem with my bmw 524 car fender. It is sometimes being scrapped by the tires. What i did was to use a rubber hammer to adjust the fender lip slightly higher as it can be.  And just a little amount of paint for retouching. Now, im free to use any kind of tire that i want with confidence of not hitting the fender.

I once had a problem with my bmw 524 cv joint. I noticed a popping noise coming from the front passengers area when I accelerate from slow speeds. Then i was advised to take off the cv joint before it breaks and leaves my car stuck.

Now its been fixed since i replaced the cv joint.

I once suspected a problem with my bmw 524 control arm. At that time, i was hearing a clicking noise on my front left tire when I'm coming to a stop. I brought it to a shop and found out that my guess was wrong. The sounds that i was hearing were the clicking brake pads. I replaced it and its been fine.
